ELECTION 2005

ON TUESDAY NOVEMBER 8, 2005 the citizens of St. Marys will elect a Mayor and three councilpersons. They will serve in the most important time in the history of the city. They will have to deal with the Durango redevelopment, Infrastructure, rebuilding and expansion and explosive population growth. The editorial staff of Camden Ga News is proud and pleased to endorse the following candidates:

Mayor - Rowland Eskridge
Post 4 - Bill Deloughy
Post 5 - Deborah Hase
Post 6 - Gull Weaver

In our opinion these candidates have
no pre-conceived notions or alliances.
They will serve only one master you
the public. Their opponents on the
other hand very clearly represent a
conglomerate of self serving individuals
whose only purpose is to serve the
developers and their closely nit group
of friends. When weighing all the factors
involved. Mayor, Post 4 and Post 6 were
a NO-BRAINER. In the case of Post 5
it was more difficult. Mr. Rillo and
Mr. Johnson are fine men however, when
viewing the future with all its problems
our decision fell to experience . Clearly
Mrs. Hase has the experience necessary
at this point in time.

In the case of Kingsland take a look at
Marion Wall a newcomer to politics but
someone who has been around for a long
time. He will be tremendous asset.

In Woodbine same story. Take a look at
Ginger Readdick-Llyod. She looks like she
could make a meaningful contribution to
Woodbines future.
